Hey, I'm Corey. I attend Ohio State and live in Columbus, Ohio. I like watching Jim Tressel coach the Bucks in the Fall and Thad Matta in the winter. I originally came here from Newsvine.com (another cool news site) where I have my own column. I'm also staff writer at the Columbus newspaper U Weekly, it's geared towards college students and it's a really fun job.

When I'm not here or at work you can probably catch me parked in front of the TV watching Prison Break or The Office (or My Name is Earl or 30 Rock - NBC Thursday own me). I also like to occasionally get my butt off the couch and go jogging or take a snowboarding trip.

If you want to get ahold of me or just say 'hey' you can send me an instant message through AIM (coreywspring) or via Netscape site mail. You can also shoot me an email at corey.spring(at)newnetscape.com

See the legendary green flash when the sun sets

Science – You can see green flashes with the eye, sometimes, if you are looking toward a very clear horizon. You must be looking just at sunset, at the last moment before the sun disappears below the horizon. And you have to be careful . . .if you look too soon, the light of the sunset will dazzle your eyes, and you'll miss that day's green flash.
