Humor – Police in Somerset County, Pennsylvania are trying to solve a strange case of a stolen salad. A man has reportedly registered a complaint that a stranger kicked in his door Monday and stole a salad from his refrigerator while he was at a local bar. According to AP reports, there were no other items reported missing except the salad from his house.

Pets – A 2-pound kitten was finally rescued from a storm drain in West Virginia, with the help of two fire trucks, five firefighters, several animal rescuers and about 250 gallons of water.Firefighters tried coaxing it out with food and encouraging words. They also tried flashing lights and banging tools on the pipe to scare the kitten out, reported CNN.
