According to Gamepolitics a secret meeting between famed anti-rational thought expert Jack Thompson and the newly appointed Take Two Interactive Chairman Strauss Zelnick took place recently in an Underground Lair... Um, I mean New York City.
Only speculations can be made on the range of topics discussed during their highly secretive meeting. Perhaps Mr. Thompson wanted to request a cameo in GTA IV or Manhunt 2. Or perhaps the two were devising a sinister plan to boost Take Twos sales as well as Thompson’s overwhelmingly nonsensical career through a series of purposed unconstitutional bills and lawsuits in order to mold public perception via the media! Hogwash!
My guess would be the old saying 'Keep your friends close but keep your enemies closer' applies here. Strauss Zelnick most likely wanted to get a feel for the man who deemed himself “Take Two’s most abiding critic” and who vows to bring the company down.

NY Times sees small chance for New York Video Game Legislation
As reported by GamePolitics , the New York Senate and Assembly are currently trying to work out language in competing bills in an effort to pass video game legislation by June 21st, the end of the session.
The New York Times, however, sees gloomy prospects for the video game bill:
Violent and sexually explicit video games can be repulsive and demeaning. But banning them as [Governor] Spitzer [left] and legislators want to do probably will not pass muster in the courts. Also, the defense of such laws can be expensive — Illinois paid out more than $1,500,000 in taxpayer funds when courts found that its effort to ban violent videos was unconstitutional.

Last week, the Rumor Reporter said something about a fifth Monkey Island game being kicked around the top brass at Lucasarts:

However, LucasArts has so many things on its belt right now, including a Wii title that has yet to be named. Oh Rumor Reporter why do you have to pull on my heartstrings? I'm not sure my little ticker would have the will to tick on if this rumor turned out to be false. Good thing for my heart three days after the rumor surfaced the fansite World of Monkey Island received an email from Sam & Max and former Lucasarts demi-god, Steve Purcell. It contained three very snazzy pieces of concept art for a project "in no way connected to any existing or canceled piratey project".

The LFS Team has issued another updated S2 full alpha of Live For Speed, accelerating their modern racing simulation to must have status. As before this is an updated demo with the familiar Blackwood track and four cars, but it also includes all content of the full game that you can unlock by purchasing an S2 license. A patch from the previous version and a corresponding dedicated server are also available, and this upgrade adds smoother online racing, a new script system, Windows Vista compatibility, an auto-updater, and numerous minor improvements and bug fixes.
