The child had many surgeries including plastic surgery. The pitbull was a trained fighting dog. The courts want to put the dog to sleep. The owners, who are white, want their dog back. Do you think they should compensated for their dog, the dog that the courts took from them? It sounds like attempted murder and a huge lawsuit to me. The owners should be ultimately responsible. Can you see now how training a dog to fight & using it for dogfighting is a safety issue?

Just for further clarification, whomever posted the comments under "BG", that was not me. Regardless of your comments here, I will not change my mind. I agree with the law. Just because you believe that a law is illegal, you cannot break it and not pay the consequences. That goes for everyone, black, white, purple, etc.
