Ben Affleck cast his brother Casey in 'Gone Baby Gone' to make himself look "smart".

The 'Smokin' Aces' actor gave his younger sibling a lead role in his directorial debut so he could take the credit when it shot him to stardom.

Ben, 35, said: "I cast him because I was lucky to get him. And I got to look smart. I got to be the guy who can say, 'I can show people how good he really is.' "

The brothers claim to have had an almost telepathic understanding on the set of the film, which sees 32-year-old Casey star as a private eye investigating the apparent kidnapping of a four-year-old girl.

Ben says: "We had a level of communication that made it easy. I'd say, 'Do this thing like Mr. So-and-So,' and he understood what it meant."

Casey agrees: "We had a shorthand. When we didn't agree, there was no pressure. We talked about it."

'Gone Baby Gone' will hit cinema screens worldwide later this month.

However, its release in the UK has been delayed indefinitely because it was considered insensitive to bring out a movie with similarities to the high-profile disappearance of four-year-old Madeleine McCann from a Portuguese tourist resort in May.

"I had crises of faith. I thought you had to experience things if you want to know right from wrong. I'd go to Christian revivals and be moved by the Holy Spirit, and I'd go to rock concerts and feel the same fervour. Then I'd be told, 'That is the devil's music! Don't partake in that!' I wanted to experience things religion said not to experience."

Lindsay Lohan will remain in Utah this week to receive outpatient care after leaving rehab, her father has revealed.

The 'Mean Girls' star officially completed her stay at Utah's Cirque Lodge on Friday (05.10.07) after spending five days in a mountain cabin with dad Michael.

He said: "Lindsay will remain in Utah for the next week receiving outpatient care.

"She will head back to Los Angeles shortly to work on a movie for several weeks and then is likely return to Utah to continue her outpatient programme."

The 21-year-old star's mother, Dina, has also spoke about her daughter's time in rehab.

She said: "I'm proud of her. She's moving ahead with her life. Things were getting out of control. She took action. She took responsibility. She really needed to heal."

Lindsay will reportedly begin filming tango-themed movie, 'Dare to Love Me', in Los Angeles on October 15.

The actress entered rehab following her arrest in Santa Monica in the early hours of July 24. She was arrested on suspicion of DUI (driving under the influence) after a car chase involving her assistant's mother.

The Spice Girls have hired a state-of-the-art private jet to fly them around the globe for their forthcoming world tour.

The reunited girl group - Victoria Beckham, Mel B, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Geri Halliwell - are leasing a Boeing 757, which they haven christened 'Spice Force One'.

The outside of the jet will be adorned with official Spice Girls reunion artwork, while the interior will boast a crèche and a make-up parlour.

The 757 will transport the girls - all of whom are mothers apart from Mel C - their families, management, wardrobe, make-up artists and bodyguards from venue to venue.

A source said: "'Spice Force One' will be a flying palace.

"Along with the immediate entourage, the girls will have a team of chefs and nannies who will be on hand 24/7 to feed and look after everyone on board."

The luxurious jet will include a dining room, business centre, state-of-the-art bathrooms, a media centre and sleeping quarters.

As well as 'Spice Force One', the band are also set to hire two further jets - dubbed 'Spice Force Two' and 'Spice Force Three' - for their dancers, remaining staff, stage hands and equipment.

The hotly-anticipated tour starts in Vancouver, Canada, on December 2 and they will visit a host of cities including Los Angeles, New York, Madrid and Sydney.

Last week, the group added an extra seven London dates after the original concert sold out in 38 seconds.

The former 'Baywatch' actress wed fiancé Rick Solomon at Las Vegas' Mirage Hotel and Casino on Saturday evening (06.10.07).

The couple - who have been dating for just over a month - were joined by 60 guests, including Pamela's sons, Brandon, 11, and nine-year-old Dylan, and Rick's daughters, Hunter, 11, and Tyson, nine.
