October 12, 2007 - TV Guide reports that Gloria Rueben will be returning to ER for an upcoming guest appearance on the series, which she left in 1999. ER executive producer David Zabel has let it be known that he'd like to get as many alumni of the show as possible to appear this year, which is expected to be the final season.
Reuben's character, Jeannie Boulet, will appear on the January 10th episode of the show. The storyline involves Jeannie returning to County General seeking treatment for her HIV-infected son.
Among other former cast members, Noah Wyle will appear as John Carter for at least four episodes this season.
