ameliog

40-something single parent living in the rocky mountain west. All other personal details are between me and several government agencies. And phone company, utilities, and credit card databases, and... ----- I dislike double-standards, hypocritical natures and the growing level of hatred in this country. Life is too precious and way too short to be spent wishing ill on others simply because they disagree with us. ----- Happy 2008 to everyone, to friends and friends-to-be. I'll be making (harmless?) mischief, asking questions, tossing out opinions like I know all the answers (ha! Actually, it's my attempt to blend in among the social network population - when in Rome...) and perhaps annoy you on occasion, although I balance out that last one by annoying myself too from time to time!

Last Hurrah For Reagan Coalition?

Politics – George H.W. Bush's failing in 1992 is the failing of son George W. Bush. With the sole exception of Mike Huckabee, the GOP seems unable to comprehend how throwing U.S. workers into Darwinian competition with foreigners earning one-fifth or one-tenth their wages impacts the Reagan Democrats now deserting the GOP.
