(NORMAN, OKLA.) - President Boren challenges the University of Oklahoma students to support OU's softball team and to participate in a campus-wide recycling competition.
The 15th-ranked University of Oklahoma softball team begins their series with 22nd-ranked Texas A&M on April 22, 2011 at 7 p.m. The game takes place on Earth Day, a day to inspire awareness about Earth’s natural environment.
“This competition is important to me because I truly believe in keeping OUr campus beautiful.” Boren said. “This project which is a student-led effort is special because it supports our fantastic softball program while initiating a campus-wide recycling competition.”
