A HIGHLY-QUALIFIED SCHIZOPHRENIC SYSTEM There are two causes of unexpected problems: (1) Conventional authority, which by definition cannot react to or predict new occurrences and observations, and (2) The subtle power which comes from great distance with ancient authority for the purpose of resolving some unseen or unobservable problem, and therefore tries to act against desirable outcomes to produce something even better, an intangible benefit that is easily missed and hard to tabulate. Fear is an attempt to economize and politicize failures of the intangible, and the success or failure of intangibles is the real economy. We don't believe in rich and poor, we only believe in success and failure. Success and failure is the success and failure of the so-called intangibles. The intangibles are responsible for the pleasure of the brain, and the pleasure of the brain is the only tangibility that is not mere sacrifice. I’ll tell you a little secret: greatness is little more than self-satisfaction. It is success with intangibles. And if you cannot make good on self-satisfaction, that is only incidental. After all, some do not make good on greatness. Life's limit is a very hard theory. We are continually encountering it, but it is also clear that we are encountering a theory. If we realize happiness, we realize a standard of intangibles, also called immortality, which is the limit of hard theories: the limit, so-to-speak, of brain-damage.
