As a matter of fact you don't need to remember your ISHS password to login
at either www.ishs.org or www.actahort.org.
If you don't have a password or you don't remember your ISHS password:
- First go to the login screen ('member login' at www.ishs.org or the
'login/logout/status' page at www.actahort.org)
- Then enter your email address (or your ISHS membership number if you know
this) in the field that says "username"
- Leave the "password" field empty
- Check the box in front of the text 'I don't have a password or forgot my
password'
- Finally press the green 'login' button and your ISHS password will be
mailed to your mailbox in seconds
- Use the username/password combination you received to login
- You can always change your ISHS password after login.
Keep in mind that this system of course does only work if your email address
is included in the ISHS membership database !

What is the Full Text email service
If you do not want to read the Full Text article online,
you might prefer receiving the file in your mailbox.
Just click the Full Text email service button of the article of
your choice and the Full Text PDF file will be emailed to you in due course.
Articles of older books are scanned and can be large in size. If you have
a slow Internet connection it can take a long time to download the
PDF version of an article. If you do not want to wait you can
E-mail the article to your E-mail address.
The size of the E-mail is 50% larger than the original article because
the E-mail attachment with the article need to be encoded. Some
mail providers have a limit on the E-mail size of one mail, check
this with your ISP before you E-mail a large attachment.
The same article can only be mailed once a day. The mails leave our server
at midnight European time.
Is it safe to use my credit card online
ISHS is making all the efforts to make your online payment as safe as possible. Secure payment is guaranteed by the payment providers Verisign or Ogone. ISHS does not store any credit card information. The transaction with the credit card data between your browser and Verisign or Ogone is encrypted.
Status
In the status window you see the amount of credits you have and the number
of articles you did read in the past. There is also a list of articles
you did order in the last two weeks.
What happens when I download an article for the second time?
In a period of two weeks after your first download of an article
you can download the same article again without using more credits.
When you view within a two weeks time frame the same article twice on the
web and you E-mailed the article once to your mailbox, then this
will be counted only as one article viewed.
