POMBOX is a collection of cloning parts for Golden Gate Assembly-based plasmid assembly in Schizosaccharomyces pombe. POMBOX follows the Modular Cloning Yeast Toolkit (MoClo-YTK) grammar and is compatible with its parts. This plasmid kit provides 14 promoters, six synthetic terminators, two loci of integration, and six additional pairs of connectors.

This kit will be sent as bacterial glycerol stocks in 96-well plate format.

Description

POMBOX allows for seamless and efficient assembly of single-gene and multigene plasmids for genome integration in Schizosaccharomyces pombe. POMBOX is fully compatible with all DNA parts that have been designed following the MoClo-YTK grammar. POMBOX can also be used as a standalone kit as it provides pre-assembled cassettes of parts 1, 5, 6, 7, 8 from the MoClo-YTK grammar and functional promoters and terminators of S. pombe.
