Registration for the 105th Annual Meeting is now available!
Starting this year, fees for hybrid and virtual-only attendance will be different.
We made this decision after listening to the community’s feedback. By providing these different fees, we hope to make our meeting more accessible to the community. The fees were determined based on many factors, including:

Costs for the in-person portion of a hybrid experience (meeting room rental, audiovisual expenses, food and beverage costs, on-site labor, health and safety protocols, etc.)

Costs for the remote experience (internet and hardware for live streaming, software for messaging and chat, labor, etc.)
Please note that if you select virtual-only attendance, you will NOT be admitted to any programs or sessions taking place onsite in the convention center or other meeting space. To access any portion of the in-person meeting, you will need to switch your registration to hybrid attendance, and pay the remaining balance in full.
Additionally, you will see that the terminology for our attendance methods has shifted. Previous meetings have had “in-person” and “virtual” attendance options. Starting this year, virtual attendees have online access ONLY, while “in person” attendance will be referred to as “hybrid” attendance to encourage attendees that join us onsite in New Orleans to also take advantage of the content virtually. If you can’t attend every session you’d like to in person, you can tune in to the meeting online so that you don’t miss out!

We are committed to ensuring that the 105th Annual Meeting allows you to share your science and connect with one another in as many ways as possible. That includes:
- 40+ live oral sessions and one poster session per conference each day, including a mix of presentations made by in-person and virtual presenters
- Q+A’s and discussions with all in-person and virtual oral presenters in real time via Zoom chat and/or audience microphone.
- Recordings from all oral sessions (available at the session level in the online program 72 hours after the session ends)
- All poster presentations (in-person and virtual)
- Abstracts and supplementary material (PDFs, slides, links, etc.) for all presentations in the online program as long as the presenter has uploaded these materials. (Please note: Providing supplementary material is optional for presenters.)
- Asynchronous Q&A chat with presenters and session chairs before and after presentations take place
- Attendee to attendee messaging
- Access to the online exhibitor listing and in-person access to the vibrant exhibit hall and career fair
Only registered attendees, hybrid and virtual, will have exclusive access to content before, during, and up to three months after the meeting takes place.
Please note everyone presenting (both oral and poster) and/or attending the 105th AMS Annual Meeting must register. All payments must be made in full in order to attend this meeting.
Abstract Fee: Please note that the abstract fee of $120 is refundable only if the abstract is NOT accepted. The abstract fee is separate from the registration fee. Additional information can be found here.
