It was talked about for years and in November 2006, the McLeod Center opened for business. A 6,500-plus seat venue that houses UNI's basketball and volleyball programs, it is connected to the south end of the UNI-Dome.

The building provides year-round training opportunities for Panther student-athletes. Including a training room, coaches offices and the UNI Athletics Hall of Fame, it is a focal point for students, staff, alumni and the Cedar Valley community.
