Anil K. Giri

Introduction

Anil Giri is a research agricultural economist with the Economic Research Service (ERS) in the Farm Economy Branch of the Resource and Rural Economics Division (RRED). His main research focus is analyzing the financial performance of farms, including how agricultural policies affect farm household income and wealth.

Background

Anil joined ERS in April 2020. Before coming to ERS, he was an assistant professor at the University of Central Missouri, where he taught and conducted research related to agribusiness structure and performance. He also carried out research on local farmers' markets in Missouri.
