Those of you who have recently tied the knot have no doubt been inundated with the ‘when are you having kids?’ question. And you’ve barely gotten over them asking when you were going to get married!

But what if you want kids and your partner doesn’t? Hopefully, you had this discussion before getting married but if it was a half-hearted attempt or you thought it may change down the line, you may be in for a rude awakening if they dig their heels in after signing on the dotted line. Just like thinking that having kids will fix your marriage, never assume your partner will change their mind once you’re married. If the topic of having children arises during your dating days (and it really should), and they really are not keen but you are, you may need to do some very deep soul searching to
