Alice Sun has always felt invisible at her elite Beijing international boarding school, where she’s the only scholarship student among China’s most rich and influential teens. But then she starts uncontrollably turning invisible—actually invisible.
When her parents drop the news that they can no longer afford her tuition, even with the scholarship, Alice hatches a plan to monetize her strange new power—she’ll discover the scandalous secrets her classmates want to know, for a price.
But as the tasks escalate from petty scandals to actual crimes, Alice must decide if it’s worth losing her conscience—or even her life.

What our readers think
Readers find this title to be a genre-blend romance fantasy with a touch of magical realism. They love the characters and the portrayal by the narrator. The book is touching, inspiring, and soothing, with a heartwarming ending. The romance between Henry and Alice is adorable. However, some find it cringeworthy and consider it a cheap YA romance. Overall, it is a fabulous story with a brilliant premise and great characters.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5It's really similar to "not my problem" but darker and less gay. The character grew as a person and it was an interesting journey. The invisibility thing is not talk about at all at the end??

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book is just so touching, inspiring and palpable soothing embrace to my heart when I feel down, I love how the mc starts to come to terms with herself at the end and has grown learning how to embrace herself and rise up to meet the challenges over the course and consequences of her actions
