      What a fantastic book!!! I absolutely loved it. I discovered Codie on TikTok. She is super cool and I was highly anticipating her book and she did not let me down.

      Here lies a vengeful bitch, is high paced, well written, and just great.

      The journey that Annie ends up on is definitely bumpy, and has some twists and turns and literally had me guessing clear till the end. And close to the end when everything is coming to light I teared up as well.

      If you don’t have this amazing book on your TBR you definitely need to go get it!!!

      What I liked about this book was it was giving mild Jennifer’s Body vibes. I loved that movie. And the mystery upon mystery was nice.

      What I didn’t like about it. The MC was not likeable for me. And some of the other characters, I’m not sure why they were even written. The setting for nearly each chapter was all over the place. She took entirely too long to figure out what happen to her. I as the reader still am not sure what she was. The words dead and mermaid came up. Did she end up with superpowers? I don’t know. I couldn’t wait to finish this book.
      She does eventually figure out what happen and solves another mystery but we never ( as far as I remember ) figure out what she became.
