    Chris J. Lanet --- I was born in New York City in 1941 and effectively schooled on its streets. Prospering with enough formal education and money, I indulged in many ideas. I did it all: tycoon, prizefighter, gambler, pirate, inventor, airplane pilot, etc. There's nothing I haven't tried, at least once. My diaries and recollections, if ever fully published, would cause many, currently prominent industrialists, and the other kind to blush. I know the secrets, the dirt, and all the noise. I'm not a show and tell guy, so you'll never hear it. Instead, I write and paint, and enjoy every second of it. First published in 1965, I established a following by laying bare the psychic elements of human nature. As a painter, I interpreted the components of intrigue, illusions, introspective, and human absurdities within the pastiche motif. Since 1961 my technique known as Collage Art has been displayed in various venues and commercially successful. "Magic happens only when you make it happen." ________
