Opium Eyes
I could fall in love with one such as you
Or maybe it's just the drugs that I do
Each time I look in your opium eyes
And see a world where the sun can still shine
To escape from this place of endless rape
The sanity of my mind walks a fine line
Between beauty and darkness
I don't remember a time when I wasn't wasted
Talent misplaced and just staring vacant
Into those opium eyes I've come to love
Nothing Beats A Good Book
Each word, your eyes growing wide
Fingers gripping the page
Spine bending backwards
You tear through all these days
Years passing by in a daze
The death of all you loved
The rebirth at the hands of gods
Nothing ever gets better , only worse
So you read on to finish this curse
Nothing beats a good book.
Suffer In Peace
I just want to lie in bed as you sleep
Watch the rhythmic rise and fall of your dreams
That carry to me a fevered peace
Outside the walls of this holy abode
The burning city reflects the fire in my eyes
The flames of passion won't subside
As this apocalypse licks towers in the sky
But for the final moments some spent on their knees
Praying to god to strive off this disease
I watch your dreams and suffer in peace
A Violent Voice
The voice that makes you feel pretty
The body you want to fend off loneliness
Til' the next best is on your plate
Fuck me and all the nice things I've said
Your body's a gallows where I strive to die
Cut out this compassion inside
Fuck the beauty in your eyes
You eat me alive
Teeth tearing through my hide
Built to stand abuse
Wasn't enough for you
Smile for the fucking camera
Say cheese and die
Goosebumps down my spine
Where's the exit to this place
Tonguing my being
The mouth of despair
Made a wish on a shooting star
Stuttered
Now this is out catastrophe
It's all because of me
The wishes and dreams
Your pretty face
The laughing disease
You'll hurt me if you please
Toss water while I seize
As my lungs constrict and squeeze
The coma of your thighs
Kissing loved ones goodbye
Lucy's off in the fuckin' sky
And I'll join her tonight
You're a shotgun blast to my self confidence
The last look in the disfigured mirror
Leaving me half a man
Like a clown you've hidden your face
Layers of shit roll down the hill of your breast
Infection
Inflicting death
It's on your breath
Impatient with the shit your not saying
The world keeps spinning and here I am
Left to whoring myself again
For that bullshit smile
In this game ain't no one winning
The darkness feels so right
It's what we call life
