About this ebook
The book has come about as a result of a realisation that not many good to sound, easy to understand and heartfelt poems for children and teachers of middle school level were available on the net or elsewhere. While they have been the focus of these poems nevertheless the poems have have been able to strike a chord with others as well. This collection of 15 poems, apart from being easy on the mind and eyes while reading bring about a sense of identity every person will feel as life’s processes and experiences remain the same the world over. And while the appeal of the different themes collated here remains universal, there is a distinctively Indian flavour in most of theme that imparts it its uniqueness.
The icing is that it is a one time investment that'll fetch you all the other poems that'll be added to this book regularly and continuously in the coming time at no added costs!!!
Readers will profit in more ways than one for sure!

Hi, This is Richa here, a school teacher, a gardener, a mother (and that takes care of all other professions in my repertoire)! I have two children. I am a post graduate in English and my hobbies include reading, cooking and yes gardening that surprisingly relaxes me with the manual effort that it demands of me. I am fond of everything God has created and find imperfections perfectly perfect! :) I have now graduated myself from my other roles to become many other things by becoming a full fledged writer. I've debuted with a short poetry book called 'The Vagrant', that will greatly appeal the younger lot as well as school teachers although it has seen appreciation from other quarters as well. My second book 'A Slick Life' is an interesting memoir of an interesting oilman whose life saw the many changes happening in India and its people. It makes for a good read as well as make you a part of its own as you'll proceed. Thanks for buying this book. Would love to hear your views on it as well. Love and God bless

1. A Book of Two Pages
What this poem is talking about?
This poem talks about the identity crisis, love and subjugation under man made rules, of girls in many nations all over the world. Although it has a poignant strain to it, it also talks about hope igniting itself in young minds for some change to happen in future through the girl herself.

I cried when I was detached
From my umbilical string
I rued my un-rooting and
Unravelling to the world
