    About the Authors

    Joy Longo, DSN, MS, RN, is an assistant professor at the Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. She earned her diploma in nursing from Mountainside Hospital School of Nursing in Montclair, New Jersey, her BSN from Lynn University, and her MS with a focus on nursing education from Florida Atlantic University. Her doctoral dissertation was a study of factors that affect nurses' job satisfaction and intent to leave.
