A Few Words - Angela Banks
LET THERE
BE LIGHT
black.jpgPART ONE
In the beginning was…
THE WORD.
black.jpgBEDTIME
I can’t close my eyes
This nightmare it keeps me awake
Sometimes it rains
Sometimes there are rays
From the sun
But every time
I’m too close
To the end
On the edge of the cliff
At the top of the mountain

If I close my eyes
I will die
Just before I wake
No soul
No maker
To keep

We can put on a show
And leave on the lights
Magic is what you get
When you’re too afraid to ask
We don’t owe each other anything
Because we know it won’t last
If magic is all you want
Then magic you shall have
Ta da!
The real magic is
