Cartomancy: Poems Inspired by the Tarot
()
About this ebook
For centuries the Tarot cards have ensnared the minds and souls of mankind. In this collection Amy embarks upon the spiritual journey of writing a poem based on each of the 78 cards found in the Tarot deck. The collection follows the same division as the cards with the Major Arcana and the Minor Arcana, then with further division of the later category for the four suits: Wands, Swords, Cups and Pentacles. This is a excellent companion book to have during tarot readings to prompt questioners to truly examine what they are asking and what they hope to gain from their lives.
Amy Sophiamehr
Amy Sophiamehr is a poet and writer who aims to touch souls and spark dialogue about tough issues. She has been fascinated by language since she was a child, amazed that otherwise arbitrary sounds and symbols could be construed into meaning. From then onward she has been a devout linguistics nerd with writing being the main outlet of her admiration for language. She currently lives on the outskirts of Bloomington, Indiana with her husband and two adorable Maine Coon-mix cats. When not writing she enjoys cooking, hula-hooping, hiking in the lake country, and reading the latest book for her Gothic literature book club.
