Few times we think about what we have; but always about what we’re missing – Quote by Schopenhauer.
Prologue
Life is an inexplicable illusion, at the time, great thinkers, psychologists, philosophers, and even science nowadays, don’t know the why we are in this world, or where we are headed to. We don’t have a solid goal, unless we take death as the final goal, or if we call the little everyday goals, goals. We human beings don’t have a clear explanation about life.
There are psychological problems to which we can find reasons, but the reasons can be excuses for our mind not to wear out and lose ourselves with endless thoughts, we tend to look for an explanation, and theories to all that we don’t understand, and if we see that a theory, reason or explanation is of our liking, or seems the most adequate for us, our mind records it in itself, and we hold that belief our whole life, or until we find a theory that we like more.
Throughout our life, we all face problems that tend to show up in various ways, like a bad relationship, being fired from work, a loved one’s death, health problems, terrorism, war and much more.
Some of us, have the capability to face those problems without pain, and others don’t have the courage, the capacity, nor the strength to bear the pain.
If you sit to think the why behind this, your mind will give you a thousand excuses and reasons to explain why other people are better, or why they can handle the pain, fight their problems, and be more successful in everything they set out to do.
In this book we won’t talk about why life can be so unfair with some, nor are we going to look for an explanation to why we are alive, the sense of life, or the great questions that haunt our minds now and then. This book will propose some great ideas, that will and should be very helpful for the reader to have a life full of happiness and prosperity.
The secret of happiness is not always doing what you love, but to always love what you are doing – Quote by Tolstoy
This book will teach us how any individual can change the world, if that is what he or she wishes, or change their own world, in which he/she is dominant.
Great scientists, thinkers, philosophers, and psychologists have attempted to find an answer to the big questions that 99% of the world tend to find in their minds or have asked themselves sometime in their life, for example, why, or for what are we living?
For centuries the human being has been unable to find an answer to those many questions, and in this book we’re going to find the most sincere solution to this problem.
I must find a truth that is true for me – Quote by Søren Kierkegaard
Life is complex, and maybe there are some questions to which we shouldn’t search for an answer, unless that’s our passion, and that is what we must consider.
If we get started on it, we must consider that an adequate answer may be hard to find, and that life may not give us enough time for it. That’s why, the best we can do is improve the life we have and take it towards the fields of happiness.
The best way to have our minds clear, to be able to live life is, to appreciate it and follow the road we have before our eyes. If for whatever reason, the individual can’t see the road, then the best way to find it is to reflect and wait until he sees it.
Our life is like a car which we have to guide and drive forward, and how can be possible to guide something that we can’t see, but that we maybe only feel?
The answer to this question is held by every individual who has a healthy mind to think, because there in the mind is where it’s found, and were we’ll find the most efficient ways to improve our lives, have all the power we want, all the love we need, and control our personality, but that is the question, how can one obtain such power?
To be able to achieve any task in our life, the essential part is to understand the task, and more essential yet, is to understand the way to complete it. Both explanations are found in our mind, but to be able to understand how to do it, it’s very important to understand what the mind truly is and what it means to us.
In this book, we’re going to take a look at some of the most important affairs in our life. We’re going to take the road of a labyrinth’s paradox, in which if we come to understand most of its paths we’ll reach a much higher level of life. Our way of thinking determines who we are and the way of living is reflected in it too.
If we want to change our image, our life, our world, we must change ourselves.
Chapter 1
the mind
Forma1Our brain is the most complex and powerful organ we have in our body. We can’t live without it, and this is what guides us in life.
Life is the most important thing we find in all human beings, animals and plants in our world. But there is something that separates us humans from every other living being, our mind.
The mind is the ability that humans posses to be able to intercept, think, and acquire information of our surroundings. The consciousness and the memory are parts of the mind that help us complete various tasks in modern life. Our mind is a vast universe, as complex as life itself, but unlike life, the mind is the power we have to be able to guide and drive our life as we please, and if we seek absolute power in this world, the mind is the only way to achieve it.
Our life is guided completely by our mind, which can make it be guided towards happiness or towards sadness. If we reflect on how our mind works, we can find the way to control it so it gives us a path in life as we want.
In order to have a healthy life, full of riches and happiness, we need to reflect and give our life a very big and long look. In this era of connection, social media, globalisation, and internet, our minds have a more advanced capacity to register information, we have more means to connect with our loved ones, means to reach people all around the world, and even all of us have the opportunity to create our own business without moving from our homes.
––––––––
Our mind has a great power, and is truly this power what we need to have in our hands to obtain anything we want or wish for.
The way our mind works is incredible, for that, let’s reflect a little bit.
The mind can create the incredible, and if something is created in your mind, it can be created in reality – Quote by Dews
Lets take a look at some examples, the Wright brothers created the first motorised flight, nobody at the time believed that to be possible, and thanks to them now we can travel from one place in the world to another flying through the air, and in just a few hours.
The same happened with the sail boats, that the Egyptians created many years ago. The same happened with the first computer, the first telephone, electricity, microphones, internet and many more things, the list is almost infinite.
With these examples we can see a clear definition of the power of our mind, before the creation of the airplane, the steam boat, sail boat, or any great creation, the mind had already created all those ideas itself, and the only thing the individuals did, was give it shape. This doesn’t mean that it’s easy to do, quite the contrary, the bigger the dream, the more work is needed, more failures are needed, more will power is needed, and more motivation will be needed.
Our mind, as complex as it seems has its individual trajectory and it responds to whomever commands it, we can make our mind believe that the water has a color, or that the world is triangular, our mind believes it all, which makes us the lord of our own mind.
But our mind needs to believe what we want it to believe, what we want it to achieve.
At some point in your life you may have experienced that if you tell yourself that you can complete a certain task, and continue to repeat it until you believe it yourself, you end up doing it successfully, in those moments is when your mind is obeying, it’s doing what you want, what you ask for, and all of that happens because you believe in the idea, you are sure that you can make it, and you know you can do it, those are orders directed to the mind, some other times, the opposite happens, you tell yourself you can do it, but you don’t make it, and in those situations it may be because your mind is not ready for what you are asking of, or because in your own subconscious, you don’t think you can make it.
This happens because if we ourselves doubt what we are trying to do, be it a small task or one of our greatest endeavours of our life, if we don’t make our mind believe we can do it, it will be very hard to achieve it, and in most cases, it won’t be achieved.
You may have noticed that the phrase, Believe in yourself, and you’ll make it, is a phrase that indirectly refers to your mind, you must tell your mind what you wish to accomplish, and your mind will take you to success, it will take you to achieving what you truly want and desire.
All the people that have accomplished what they wanted, have been commanding their mind, until they finally got it.
Giving direct orders to our mind is the key to success. The people that have been successful in life, have been commanding their mind everything they have wanted to get, be it the creation of the airplane, or the creation of the telephone, the mind has been the true force behind such achievements.
Let’s not only focus on the past, but also the present, we can see clearly how to take pictures, send e-mails, video calls, and a lot more things that have been the result of the great minds that have had a vision, and the individuals that have made the vision change to an idea , and have taken action until it became true.
You can calmly say that there are no limits in our thoughts, or in ideas or dreams, if we want to create a whole fantastic world, our mind helps us create it, and that can also be seen in the creations that we have already written in books or seen in movies.
In the next chapter we’ll take a look at this subject of turning a vision into a reality, but before that, we must clear up our ideas about our mind, have unbreakable will power, have mental strength that can take us out of our problems without having to lose anything,
