AUTHOR’S SUBMISSION
Dear Reader,
Super Natural is the term coined to group together the phenomenon we have not been able to explain yet and which is not repeatable. Many happenings which were earlier considered super natural have become very much normal today, thanks to the advancement in Science and Technology.
However, as we are just a miniscule part of the nature, it may not be possible to understand everything in finite amount of time. The result is that unexplained things happen around us and most of the time we brush it aside as a ‘coincidence’. Many experiences are so individual and at the same time seemingly so unnatural that the observer feels shy to narrate it due to fear of being called stupid or lunatic. And even if he or she manages to narrate, the listeners’ reaction is to the tune of these adjectives.
Nonetheless, everybody become observer or the party to supernatural happenings at some point of time. It may be as simple as you are singing a tune and suddenly switch on your radio and same song and same stanza is playing there too. More often than not, we come across a telephone call from some distant friend or relative while we would be just thinking about calling him.
The unexplained phenomenon have fascinated me since childhood. I have some experiences with myself and my near and dear ones that have not faded from the mind even after decades. I strongly believe that scientific research should be carried out to explain such things. In absence of such explanation, individuals try to coin their own theories and try to use terms like ‘vibration’ and ‘energy’ to make these theories look scientific. Internet is abuzz with many such theories behind unexplained phenomenon and common people are being fooled. It is also not uncommon to associate such events with the God and spirits and make it a money making machine by cheating innocent people.
There are many aspects of the supernatural phenomenon ranging from those related to altered psychology to the ones related to telepathy and intuition. If we take a close look, it gives a feeling that human mind is capable of doing many such things that cannot even be imagined in our present circumstances and state of knowledge.
There are many examples even today of people claiming to cure something just by the chant of a Mantra. There are many who claim to have benefitted with such cure. The scientific community either rubbishes the claim or simply feels that the relief to the patient is due to psychological feeling of getting better due to belief in the practitioner. Some people argue that it is the effect of the sound that makes the patient feel better while there are people who believe in electromagnetic transmission from the practitioner’s mind to that of patient. Whatever it may be, if it has a therapeutic effect then it is something to be researched rather than being ridiculed straightaway.
This book presents collection of some unexplained experiences that I had myself or were personal experiences of my father and mother and also siblings when they were too young to draft a fabricated story.
The intent of this collection is to put these happenings on record. The expectation is that such records will inspire someone someday to institute scientific research so that the unknown avenue of knowledge gets discovered for the benefit of humanity.
I hope that my being a post graduate engineer, having worked for nearly a quarter of the century in the most modern area of science and technology that is ‘Information Technology’ adds some credibility to this collection and the reader can believe that it is not the handy work of a fiction writer.
Thank you very much

THE MYSTICAL KEYBOARD
I t was year 1977. I was admitted in 3 rd standard in Primary Pathshala Siar no-II, So named as there were two government run primary schools in the small town of Siar in Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh. My father was posted in Block Office Siar as cashier and we used to live in a small one room quarter in the block colony which was nearly one kilometre from the Siar town and I used to walk daily to the school.
Initially I kept lonely at the school but soon I could become friends with some town boys. They knew nooks and corners of the town and with them I found the chance to roam around the narrow lanes of Siar, admiring the beautiful shops selling things that I had never seen before. I too became familiar with almost every part of the town but my attention got stuck on one shop. It was a roadside toy shop. Among many other beautiful toys, there was a small train that moved automatically after its spring was wound.
This toy train attracted me so much that many a times I started going there after the school, all alone, so that there will be no one to disturb me while watching it. I used to fantasize about having enough money one day to take this toy home. I don’t know how at that age I had realized that the price of the toy is too much to be asked from the parents. I used to visualize how the internal mechanism of this train would be working. We had a table watch at home which too used to run on spring. I had got a chance to look at the internal mechanism of that watch once when my elder brother opened the outer cover of the watch in a childish bid to repair it.
It was yet another day as usual. I left the school in the evening and before moving towards home, went for the routine visit of the toy shop. To my dismay the shop was not there that day. I returned disappointed.
That night, I went to sleep with the thought of that toy train. In the morning, I still had a vivid image of what I had been doing whole night. I realized that what I had experienced was actually not real but was a dream. A dream so clear though!
I was on my usual trip to the toy shop to admire the charm of that toy train but the shop
