The Crows of Bosville, Usa: Introducing Rj

About this ebook
We live on a street called Fruits of the Spirit in Tree #9, Bosville, USA. There are nine trees on our street and each tree represents a level youve obtained as a family spiritually. The higher your tree number, the greater you are growing in Fruits of the Spirit. Not just any family can live on this street; you have to meet only one criterion as husband and wife to live on this street. The criterion is a willingness to live your life according to the spiritual principles represented by the nine fruits.
My parents worked hard and it took quite a while because these nine principles take a lot of patience, endurance, and faith to develop in a person. But they didnt give up even in the midst of challenges; as a result, they were able to build their nest home in Tree #9 and start to raise their family. Our community is a close community, and we have beautiful trees that change colors according to the season. A lot happens on this street, and I cant wait to share with you some of the adventures we have endured as a family and as a community.
So this is the first of a series of stories about me and my family and the town where we live, Bosville, USA. Oh, yes, I forgot to mention, there are a lot of us in this town. I have hundreds of aunts, uncles, and cousins. So lets see, where should I begin? . . .
Did I also mention that when you live in a house with all females, its hard to get a word in edgewise? So I listen a lot and, boy, do I hear a lot of crazy girlie stuff! So I decided to write first about my sister Minnie and the night she narrowly escaped from old, mean Mr. Homer the Owl.

Special acknowledgment to my gifts from God: my husband, Bill; my sons, Darrell and BJ; daughter-in-law, Alda; and my siblings: Barbara, Lynn, Teresa, Tracy and Ralph, Jr., who without their love and motivation, I never would have fulfilled my dream.
To my girlfriends, Sylvia Brewer, Audrey Bryant and Marvy Moore, thank you for giving me that confirmation I needed to go forward at this time in my life.
Thank you to the many family members and friends who stood by me during a difficult time in my life. It was during that time, sitting at the window on many days, that the inspiration came to write these stories. Crows are a pretty fascinating species.
But most of all, thank you, God, for loving me and instilling in me my spiritual gifts and the constant tugging at my heart to follow my dream. May I always use my gifts according to your will for my life…
With all my love,
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. (Galatians 5:22-23)
Foreword
I dedicate this book to my father, Ralph Lee Dent, and my mother, Annie Kate Dent, the greatest storytellers and parents in the world. I can remember as a child, every night before putting my sister and me to bed, Daddy would tell us a story. Mom would take us to the library to pick out books, and we couldn’t wait till bedtime for Daddy to read to us. My sister and I were only two and three years old, but it’s funny how certain memories never leave you, no matter how old you become.
But the most exciting time were weekends because that is when Daddy would tell us stories that were passed down to him from his parents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Oh! How our imaginations would follow every detail, and we could envision the characters as if we were watching them on a television screen.
Growing up in the South, Mommy and Daddy would sit around the table sharing stories of adventures and tricks they played on their siblings. My sister and I would sit on the edge of our seats absorbing every word. We hated for dinnertime to end, the same
