Why Me?

About this ebook
Joshua A. Brewer
I hope this has helped you as it has helped me. I also request that you give this a season of learning and understand to put it all into practice. And while you do, just use this phrase that was given to me “Fake it Until You Make It “and chose to be happy. By repeating happy words and positive thoughts your brain will convince itself that that is the new normal and things will start to change. Just give it time, after all Rome wasn't built in a day. Your depression was developed over time and will take time to move past so Good Luck, Godspeed, and God Bless.

Why Me is an accumulation of testimonies, life lessons, and advice that was shared with helping others who share in struggles and depression alike. It is designed to be a guide to help fight depression, show you why you’re dealing with it, how to turn it into your greatest tools and assets for success. If you follow this blueprint and or even add your own experiences to become the best version of yourself. Even if right now you just can’t see it, it is designed to be an Advocate for Depression and Suicide Prevention
Introduction
Depression is very real. It is a disease that messes with one’s mental stability and often results in addictions and or suicide. It can leave you feeling lost, alone and completely invisible and most loved ones aren’t even aware of this until it’s too late. It can also take you to a place where you’re not yourself. You will start to imagine things that aren’t real, make them worse than they really are. You can even become prideful and unbearable to be around. I know this, because I too carried this pain, became someone that I wasn’t, found a side of myself that even scared me, but I hid it very well with those around me when it was needed. We do this for many reasons that I will get into later on as we go through this book. So if you deal with depression and find yourself reading this book or even may be someone who knows someone in this positions and not sure how to help but wants too, than this is for you as well.
While writing this book, I found myself rewriting and changing it several times. I wanted this to be a self-Help Book and be written in such a manner that it is not only very informative but one that catches and keep your attention. I share my own personal experiences to help you to relate to each section on such a level that it makes you want to fight back and keep going. I also needed this to help and further teach me as I was writing it and I got more than I Bargen for which I’ll also explain as we go along.
When I thought I was at a good place to submit this book and introduce it to the world, it was kicked back due to discussing my divorce in details as well as a lack of flow. It resulted in having to face something that I really wanted to avoid and now couldn’t. The reality is that we live in a culturally sensitive world today where you have to watch everything you say and who you say it too. In the past, when dealing with these situations, it would be enough that with my depression I would have given up and seen it easier to just quit rather than try and fail. Failure and disappointment is not something easily to face when dealing with depression, but isn’t that what got us all to this place in the first place?
Thinking of the famous saying that One Voice can make a difference; I decided that it was
