      Located in the country's largest city, Johannesburg is the most visited city in Africa. MasterCard reported that the city attracted 4253968 tourists in 2014. Tourists visiting the country can enjoy many activities in the city. There are more than 40 galleries in the city, and cultural institutes, workshops and studios are held on a year-round basis. Among the paintings and landscapes on display at the Johannesburg Art Gallery are several anti-apartheids plays at the Market Theatre. In addition to serving as the cradle of mankind, the city has an archaeological centre that is listed by UNESCO. Zoos and Lion Parks in Johannesburg Are Some of The Major Attractions for Wildlife Lovers. A wide variety of cuisines are served at the restaurants in the city, including local dishes, Ethiopian dishes, Italian dishes, fish and seafood.
