      THE SABBATH

      It is essential that workers be raised up to open the living oracles of God to all nations, tongues, and peoples. People of all ranks and capacities, with various gifts, are to stand in their God-given armor, to cooperate harmoniously for a common result. They are to unite in the work of bringing the truth to all nations and peoples, each worker fulfilling his or her own special appointment. (A Noted Gospel Worker)

      EXODUS 20:8-11:

      REMEMBER THE SABBATH DAY, TO KEEP IT HOLY. SIX DAYS SHALT THOU LABOR, AND DO ALL THY WORK: BUT THE SEVENTH DAY [IS] THE SABBATH OF THE LORD THY GOD: [IN IT] THOU SHALT NOT DO ANY WORK, THOU, NOR THY SON, NOR THY DAUGHTER, THY MANSERVANT, NOR THY MAIDSERVANT, NOR THY CATTLE, NOR THY STRANGER THAT [IS] WITHIN THY GATES: FOR [IN] SIX DAYS THE LORD MADE HEAVEN AND EARTH, THE SEA, AND ALL THAT IN THEM [IS], AND RESTED THE SEVENTH DAY: WHEREFORE THE LORD BLESSED THE SABBATH DAY, AND HALLOWED IT. *

      *THE FOURTH COMMANDMENT BY THE LORD CREATOR GOD.

      The Sabbath Day is an expression of one’s loyality to GOD. And then to other people. The GOD of the Seventh Day Sabbath is our Creator GOD, who dwells in light unapproachable throughout the entire universe and has expressed Himself through His Son, Jesus Christ a personal salvation which is meant for every human being that has ever walked upon His Cratered world called Earth. But I’m not telling you anything you don’t already know.

      GOD’s Law is the foundation of GOD’s government. Just like earthly kingdoms have laws to govern their peoples so GOD uses the same concepts to govern His universe. Just as it is wrong to kill in our society so it is wrong to kill in GOD’s Holy society being written in His Law as, Thou shall not kill. In fact all of His laws can be written as ten brief authoritative words to spell out the following;

      "And GOD spake all these words, saying (Exodus 20:1-17,)

      I am the LORD thy GOD, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

      Thou shalt have no other GODs before me.

      Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness [of anything] that [is] in heaven above, or that [is] in the earth beneath, or that [is] in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy GOD [am] a jealous GOD, visiting the iniquity of the FATHER’S upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation] of them that hate me; And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

      Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy GOD in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

      Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: But the seventh day [is] the Sabbath of the LORD thy GOD: [in it] thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that [is] within thy gates: For [in] six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them [is], and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.

      Honor thy FATHER and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy GOD giveth thee.

      Thou shalt not kill.

      Thou shalt not commit adultery.

      Thou shalt not steal.

      Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

      Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that [is] thy neighbor’s."

      This is the Holy Law of our Creator who dwells in heaven. And thus His SON JESUS CHRIST made a way for sinful man to be accepted into the FATHER’S presence. By believing in the redeeming blood sacrifice that Jesus Christ made for sinful man through the shedding of His own life’s blood for our redemption. All who by faith will believe in the work of atonement made by the Son will one day stand and see the CREATOR FATHER sitting on His throne welcoming all by the merits of His Son’s Redemptive power into His presence forever!

      This holy perfect Law which is the exact expression of the FATHER’S character was one day in the past violated by Lucifer, whom we now know as Satan. He was the one who chose to live for a ‘self’ corruption of character over a ‘selfless’ perfection of character and walked step by step into carrying this universe into the ramifications of sin. Some only perceived the problematics of those who had a knowledge of sin, then again those, who had first-hand knowledge of this cancer destroying element of everything it touched, polluted souls by choice stood and abhorred the great Devine Law. This element of destruction permeated all levels of GOD’s created universe thereby casting it into eventual destruction. But GOD’s three person intervention was to allow this ‘love destroying’ cancer (sin) to show HIS Divine purpose in allowing sin to run its course. Thereby showing the Universe just how far sin could stretch and pull down the most distinguished individual among the angels, one-third of heavenly angels, plus the two created pair of humans, male and female here on earth. It was an awful mess. Satan in his selfishness had pulled down many an angel of God with doubt and uncertainty found in their individual hearts. Where else would he strike if left unchecked?? In the mind’s eye of Revelation we are shone the war that took place in heaven Where the FATHER had decided that enough is enough! He instructed the Angels that remained faithful to His standard of Law that it was time to cast these rebellious angels (one-third) out of heaven to the earth where Adam and Eve had given up their first estate to sin by choosing the way of Satan. Thus all of heaven would remain clean except the earth from this pollution of choice and character.

      So you see Law in any society is a critical aspect for governing its inhabitants. Wouldn’t you agree? Even in the heavenly realms of existence Law MUST be
