      I just moved to the Virgin Islands, where I had a job waiting for me as a restaurant manager in a boutique hotel. I loved welcoming guests, and now I was doing it in my Italian restaurant, and I had a job. One day, a close friend from my past came to visit me, except now she was one of those crazy Christians, harmless enough and so nice that her one-week stay extended to six.
