About this ebook
This is a story about a world that has collapsed. It has collapsed because words, speech, and therefore thoughts and their meaning, have been lost. They ran away.
First you meet Yako Ru. He navigates through this world and almost dies. For three whole years he collects the words from which the speech is made.
You also meet Be Bo. He took the left, that is the wrong way. He became a robber, the leader of robbers, cruel and powerful. And when he was on the verge of falling into the abyss and killing his comrade, Be Bo dreamed something that made him remember what it was like before people erased speech and goodness.
But you know… all of this could have gone just the other way around.
If no one had gone down the right path…
If everyone had chosen the speech of Ignorance…
And maybe that's exactly how it happened. Who knows?

Chapter 0, The Escape
URGENT NOTICE: DANGEROUS SPECIES ON THE LOOSE!
Last night a serious incident has occurred in the Grammar Cages. Dangerous conjugations, wild verbal moods, bloodthirsty cases and ferocious participles have escaped their enclosures and are currently roaming the streets. We urge everyone to exercise extreme caution! Stay safe and remain vigilant!
No wonder that the Hellhounds escaped.
It’s dreadful when anyone feels fear in your presence.
And people’s lives became easy, almost fizzy.
But they had a hard time thinking and didn’t understand each other at all.
Chapter 1, The Nothingness
Yako Ru woke up late . He yawned and then looked around. He felt the Nothingness gaping in his head.
Yako Ru struggled to fill the Nothingness, but because he didn’t know what to name it, he couldn’t think of it.
So he went outside.
No one knew if his walk was lengthy or short.
Then, he saw Be Bo.
Yow! Yako Ru wants hum-hum... Gimme fud or giv’ya boom on the pumpkin!
Be Bo shivered. The Nothingness gaped in his head, too.
How’bout me slam on ya head!
Chapter 2, The Stone
Yako Ru scratched his head.
Be Bo scratched his head, too.
So what?
Speechless...
C’mon!
Both Yako Ru and Be Bo set out to find something to fill the Nothingness with.
They traveled long, they traveled hard, on the third day they came to a stone. At that stone, the road diverged into three separate paths. An inscription was etched onto the surface of the stone:
"He who goes to the right will remain alive.
He who goes to the left will also remain alive.
He who goes straight will either find happiness or perish."
But neither Yako Ru, nor Be Bo could read.
Therefore, they said:
You go this way, me take that way.
Be Bo unknowingly veered onto the easy path.
Yako Ru took the right path.
He traveled by day, he traveled by night; he left behind two rivers and three mountains. Finally, he came to a dense forest.
Yako Ru wandered through that forest for a day, he roamed for a week, he traversed the depths of the forest for a month, for a year, but in vain. He couldn’t even find his way out.
Hunger and thirst tormented him, his clothes became tattered and worn, his hair grew long to his shoulders.
And only when he fell in utmost despair, Yako Ru saw the light.
The forest opened in front of him and he stepped on a
