About this ebook

The Tarot is an oracle, a means, by which, in some way, and through its drawings and colors, we stimulate our psychic sphere, the deepest part that goes beyond the rational.

When we move the cards, a secret and powerful mechanism is set in motion to open doors and means that connect us with the Universe. The Tarot is full of secrets, wonderful and powerful symbolisms that go beyond a great pictorial work. Magic, clairvoyance, or however you want to define it in yourself, will be awakened little by little, as you practice and enter the intimate world of each card.

Spiritual baths cleanse the aura and are often meant to protect you spiritually. Some events hurt us physically and emotionally, and these baths can help you free yourself from those vibrations by renewing and revitalizing you.

History of the Origin of the Tarot.

Exactly the origin of the Tarot is not known; there are various hypotheses in this regard.  say that in Atlantis others in Egypt. This last theory was put forward by Antoine Court de Gébelin (1725-1784) in a work entitled Le monde primitif (The primitive world). But there are other authors who believe that the Tarot originated in China or India, or from the ancient land of the Romani people or came to Europe through the Cathars.

The Tarot reached its popularity in Europe, in the sixteenth century. At that time, the number of cards ranged from 78 to 97. From the eighteenth century was considered official the Tarot of 78 cards, with its four suits of 14 lower cards (the minor arcana) ranging from the Ace to the king, and its 22 master cards (the Major Arcana).

Countless nineteenth-century authors studied the Tarot with interest. Eliphas Levi, the famous French occultist discovered a correspondence between the 22 Major Arcana and the 22 Cards of the Hebrew alphabets. In England, members of the Golden Dawn, the celebrated half-literary, half-secret society studied the divinatory aspect of the Tarot. Among them were the great poet W.B. Yeats and Alesteir Crowley, who ended up designing his own Tarot, with figures more in keeping with their original authenticity.

In the Anglo-Saxon countries the study of the Tarot had a very intense development, because of the influence of the ancient initiates of the Golden Dawn. Today, the North American association of the Builders of Adytum (Builders of the sanctuary) is doing important work on the hidden meaning of the Tarot.

This story, which explains how the Tarot developed, tells us nothing about why. Who designed the Major Arcana? It could be that the Templars had received a traditional initiation, alien to the Christian message, during the time they were in Palestine, and that they had transmitted that knowledge through the brotherhoods that worked at that time in the construction of the Gothic cathedrals.

Remember that from these brotherhoods of builders and masons arose the Freemasons, with their secret philosophy.

In the Major Arcana astrological, alchemical, esoteric, and religious symbolisms abound, both Christian and pagan.

Analyzing the cards can be linked to the planets, signs of the zodiac, pagan gods, plants, animals, colors, precious stones, magical rites, perfumes, and even erotic symbols.

An extremely popular Egyptian Tarot story about 3,500 years BC, after the Nile lands were ruled for a supra-human time by three hierarchies of gods and demigods, is when the first human king of Egypt acceded to the pharaoh, Menes I, also called Menes La tinita, for being a native of the city of Tinis. Menes was a great military leader who over the years and through campaigns managed to transform what was a region of antagonistic clans and tribes into a great empire, unifying under his reign the lands of Upper and Lower Nile.

He was also a great politician, he understood perfectly that an empire that only rests on the tip of the spears could not last long, and that the adhesive element was a common identity, an identity that would be built on a shared culture, a religion abided by all and an architecture that made being Egyptian proud.

Around him, Menes could not find the wise men who could make his dream come true, so he sent missions to all corners of the world to find brains to seduce to settle in the lands of the Sphinx.

In one of these searches, the representatives of the pharaoh learned of the existence, in Sumerian Mesopotamia, of a sage, priest, doctor, architect and magician from whom only the name Egyptian has come to us: Thoth. Toth agreed to settle in Luxor, then a small and sacred town still unsuspecting the fate of urban grandeur that awaited him centuries later.

Thoth was the teacher of those who later wrote of the amazing history of that people: for example, of Imhotep, builder of the first great pyramid, the stepped one of Sakkara.

Thoth laid the foundations of the religion of those places, established the cult of the dead and still had time to write  books: the famous Book of the Dead, the esoteric Emerald Tablet that begins by enunciating the Universal Principle of Correspondence (what is above is as what is below, and what is below is as what is above,  to make the miracle of one great thing under the Sun) and another, whose name we do not know and we refer generically to it as, simply, The Book of Thoth. This was a compendium of clairvoyant magic; it taught in its signs and through its 78 main illustrations, how to know the past, the present and the future.

After a long and prosperous existence, Thoth dies and is elevated to the status of God. The hierophants’ high priests of the Egyptian cult jealously guard the Book of Thoth ever since, knowing that if it fell into the wrong hands thanks to evil it could spread in the world.

priests died tortured for not revealing even to later pharaohs where the extant copies of the Book of Thoth were found.  libraries were razed in the criminal desperation of appropriating it at any cost. Julius Caesar himself, hundreds of years later, despite his love for culture, burned the library of Alexandria (half a million papyri, scrolls, scrolls, paintings were destroyed that day, almost the equivalent of what we would feel if the Internet disappeared today) with the certainty that it was hidden where in it and that if it did not become his property then it would not be anyone's.

There came a time when the hierophants realized that it was impossible to continue hiding it, but they did not want to destroy it either, it was too important for past, present, and future humanity. So, they decided to do thing. Destroyed the hieroglyphic and etheric explanations and preserved only the plates with esoteric meaning, spreading them among the people with the excuse of a game of chance. By multiplying, what is in everyone's hands loses the power that knowledge confers on being the property of only a group of persons.

As to the true meaning of these plates, the priests knew the immemorial occult claim that what is ascribed to a symbol by revelation or meditation can be recovered, so it was only a matter of time before one, where and time, would again obtain the secrets of the Book of Thoth by studying and meditating on the surviving plates over the centuries.

And it was the gypsies (a word that is deformation of Egyptian, since the origin of  tribes was precisely the lands of the Nile) who had the mission of introducing, in the European Middle Ages, strongly esoteric, the Tarots waiting for the passing of the centuries to rediscover them with lost knowledge.

    Preparation of the Cards.

The first thing you need, of course, is a card game.

We will be studying with the Rider – Waite cards. You can get them in most online stores. My advice is that you do not buy them used, because from the energy point of view it is not convenient.

Rider-Waite Tarot Card Set. The original great new age deck for ...

Although it may seem easy, having cards is more complex than you may think. Your Cards will be your second self, your main tool, your cover letter, and you cannot work with Cards that by their shape, size or drawings make you feel uncomfortable or. Just as you wouldn't wear any clothes for a special occasion, such as a wedding or celebration, you shouldn't work with any card game either. They should always be new, clean, never wrinkled or with broken edges. The Cards must be in good condition, treat them with love and affection, you will keep them in a wooden box, if possible, wrapped in a purple cloth.

    Knowing the Cards.

The next step is to know your cards. Sit in a quiet place, where no one can disturb you, if possible, put a white candle and incense. Take each card in your hand at least 10 minutes or longer, if necessary, feel the card, analyze, search, the details, look at the colors, images and pay attention to your sensations. Calmly, calmly, go looking at each letter one by one, because all its set will be the ones that give you the maximum information you are looking for. Having felt each card, when you make your rolls, your Divinity, your soul will remember the energy, the emotion you felt the first time, and regardless of its classic meaning, that emotion will be your main guide.

That is the idea when throwing the cards, that you feel all the time, and you will see that there will come a time when you will not only feel the cards, but the consultants. That is, the person who sits in front of you, even before shuffling the cards, will send you an emotion, an energy, which will already be telling you who she is.

This act that I have just described to you is the one felt by all of us who have been working for years with energy, spirit, sensations, and emotions, not with colored papers. And when that gift is born in you, you will be surprised to see that, even if you do not have the cards, you can be in front of one, or on the phone, and even on the internet, feel and see things about that person. That is the magic of the Tarot, an intuitive method, a stimulating tool, in this case, of our inner energies and gifts.

Angels and Spirit Guides are always close to you, to support you, give you light and hope. You should never fear anything, as they are always attached to you, so that you could feel their breath as if they were human. I want you to remember that the Angels, especially your guardian Angel, want to protect and guide you, and whenever we use the Tarot, and other means we must know that our guides are the ones who will really give us the information.

Cleaning and Consecration of the Cards.

Once you have familiarized yourself with your cards, we will perform two especially important steps: the consecration and cleaning of your cards. Your unconsecrated and cleaned Cards are just colored pieces of cardboard.

When buying a new Tarot card, it is important to release the cards of negative energies. To do this, it is advisable not to remove them from the plastic wrap and deposit them for 24 hours inside a container with sea salt. With this simple gesture you will clean the entire deck of those unwanted energies. The use of salt as a protective element is common among esotericism professionals. Try it and see. After 24 hours, remove them from the packaging.

For them to be filled with energy and be part of you, you must do this special act with them, and from time to time and according to their use, you must clean them, and repeat this sacred act.

Go to your altar, or if you do not have it, build one in an intimate and quiet place in your house, it can be your room or office. There, on a table, or shelf, put a white cloth tablecloth. Above a candle, white, a glass of water, sandalwood incense, flowers, an image of one who gives you peace: Buddha, Angels, Saints. The altar should be regardless of your beliefs, even if you are an atheist, the intimate, special, wonderful place, where you can get away from the noise for a minutes each day.

Take your cards, one by one, go over the candle, taking care not to burn, and then over the incense.

Once this is done, take your cards and put them on the altar. Place your left hand, that of intuition, on them, and your right hand on your heart. Close your eyes and feel the cards. Wait if you need. There will come a time when you feel a vibration, an energy, heat. When that happens, they will already be consecrated and connected to you.

Always try not to use them, leave them wrapped in a silk cloth or in a box, on your altar. Never leave your cards thrown away, abandoned out there, and less in the hands of others. Your cards are now part of you, and every time you throw them at others, especially people you feel are negative, you should repeat the cleansing and consecration exercise, so that your cards are clean and energetically charged.

Not cleaning the cards regularly can result in your readings being bad, precarious, or misguided, try to always keep them by your side, do not let anyone touch them, in this way, the cards will be charged with your energy.

If you feel more tired than usual or nervous, place the cards once again in sea salt, smoke them with lavender incense or put a black tourmaline quartz on top to collect bad energies.

    Ways to Enhance Your Intuition.

Before you start making a roll, you should be relaxed. That is why you should meditate for a minutes to connect with your Angel or your spirit guides. Close your eyes, breathe deeply, take air through your nose, and slowly expel it through your mouth. Previously light a white candle, and an incense. You may get to see his face or feel a presence. When that happens, take your Tarot cards, and stick them to your forehead, on the front chakra, the third eye. Leave the cards a minutes or if you think is convenient.

You will feel when you do this exercise that your revelations are more correct or direct.

If you have trouble relaxing, which is normal at first if you have not practiced meditation before, just breathe, count 5 to 1 in each breath-expiration. Loosen the parts of the body that tense with breathing and let go of all those thoughts that come to your imagination. Meanwhile, what matters is to keep counting breaths. If you get lost, start over. day you will count from 10 to 1 and later you will not need the numbers because you will have already done the training to concentrate on
