About this ebook
Filled with vivid verse that speaks to your core, this collection makes you realize imagination transcends the mind: its manifestation lies within your grasp. The atmosphere brims with positivity. A walk on the clouds offers hope. A dance with angels may summon love. You can’t help but feel emboldened. Dazzled by kaleidoscopes of color, you become the hero of your story.
In this boundless space, you are unlimited, free to be and go wherever you desire. No codes, no keys, no borders or barriers. It exists in your mind, but its magic may leave you forever changed. So, join the club, get inspired, and transform.
Kikisun
Kikisun was the first born to Mildred and John and the first grandchild to Fanny and Benson. She was pampered with love by the four of them. They taught her to pray, read and write long before she was five years old. After a sad incident at her grandparents’ homestead in Nerwande, her father cleared a space for her where she could read and write without being disturbed. It was difficult to keep creating such a place at their own house because the family kept moving. She herself attended a total of eight schools, from year 1 to year 11. Her father, therefore, advised and helped her to recreate that place at Nerwande, with its beautiful views in her mind. Now, that image is so imbedded in her and keeps popping up unexpectedly.

Dedication
Dedicated to my parents, Mildred and John, and grandparents, Fanny and Benson. They taught me to pray, read and write and encouraged me to never stop.
To my friend and mentor, my father, John, thank you for creating ‘my safe space’, especially the one in my head.
To Victoria, you were my only ally, back when I was unhappy. You are the best friend anyone could ever wish for.

My Wish
My book of poems is about me and all of us—the quick, the dead, and generations to come.
It holds poems about us, living the life that we lead and envisioning the one we can potentially create.
It’s filled with poems about realising our dreams and inspiring others to pursue theirs, too.
It’s a collection of verses about a world imbued with peace, enchantment, and fulfilment for everyone.
You’ll find poems defying the constraints and myths that seek to hold us down.
It contains words about evolving through time while remaining discerning and mighty.
It pays tribute and honour to the successes and victories of humanity through poignant poems.
It lets imaginations and aspirations travel to worlds beyond, sowing seeds for the advancement of this generation.
Finally, it’s about fantasies and dreams—for it’s from these that we cultivate our minds to augment logic and inaugurate novelty.
The Undulating Field
(My response)
A dull, dreary, and monotonous life, I never liked.
The one I wished for was like an undulating field—challenging
