    Questions to Ponder:

    Dear Womb Diaries

The Skeletons of the Womb Diaries was created to draw attention to, and address issues women face every day. As easy as it is to concentrate on empowerment and uplifting, which we all need, what about the dark, terrible days? Do we try to overlook or hide the problems that arise from time to time in our lives? Every woman’s soul has a conflict, but the nature of that struggle is frequently unknown. We live in a world where high standards of perfection and ethical behavior are expected of us, but what happens if we are unable to meet them? These notions might lurk in the recesses of our minds.

Manifesto for Skeletons of the Womb Diaries:

    Dear Reader,

I am writing this diary because these are my skeletons. This is my truth. Sometimes they are ugly and difficult to accept. I need healing and help because the shadows of my heart and soul have taken over my essence and light. I hide behind my pain and suffer through my thoughts. I know my actions are ugly and need to be changed. But the truth is, I am unsure of what to do. Deep down inside, a baby inside of me wants to be rescued, nurtured, and loved. I am fragile and broken from all of my life experiences.

We all have a story to be told, and not all stories are beautiful and painted wonderfully. Still, they reveal truths, our pain, and challenges. What are the shadow parts of our lives that we wish to transform? These are the skeletons of our wombs.

As you read my private diary, consider these thoughts.

I’m just trying to understand my truth.

My story may cause you to trigger some deep emotions, so beware.

I am trying to heal, and hopefully, my story can help you heal as well.

    Sincerely,

    Womb Diaries

    Chapter 1

    Dear Womb,

Iam a happily divorced 38-year-old woman. Six months ago, after leaving my husband, Roger, he nearly cleaned out my bank account with spousal support, but I was happy to see him go. He was a failed musician, and I was a businesswoman moving up the corporate ladder. Five years after starting his dream of becoming the next big rapper, he found it unreasonable to obtain a job that paid the bills until he reached his goals. He believed it was my job to support him and take care of him while he pursued his dreams, and he was wrong. I never thought I would have to take care of any man in my lifetime, but I did for almost seven years. The breaking point for me was when I came home and found my next-door neighbor sucking on his dick. The son of a bitch claimed he didn’t have time to find a real job, but he had time to get a blow job. Apparently, he was confused about the type of job I advised him to seek.

I could undoubtedly blame Roger for the pain he caused me, but really I blamed his mother and myself. His mother never held him accountable for anything. Whenever things went wrong in our relationship, she blamed me, and when things went well, she credited him. She was a ludicrous woman who would never admit that she failed to raise a responsible son.

I was happy to get Roger out of my life, but I was furious that I had to pay him spousal support each month. I now understood why some men were so frustrated with the whole spousal support system. Why did I need to pay a grown-ass man, who was fully capable of working, $4000.00 a month? We didn’t even have children together. I was grateful to my attorney for making it so I would only have to pay Roger spousal support for one year. It was time for his lazy ass to get a job and grow up. To say I was ready to move on with my new life without him, would be an understatement.

    Chapter 2

Although I wasn’t ready to date again, I wasn’t entirely against it either. The one thing I knew for sure was that I was not ready for a serious relationship. Roger and I were together for seven years, and I needed time to recoup, but that didn’t mean my yoni did. Roger was good at pleasing me in bed, and he never failed to give me an orgasm. I believe sometimes I stayed because of that reason. Nevertheless, it was time for my yoni to explore a new form of pleasure. I was tired of using my battery-operated dildo, which lasted for only five minutes before needing to be recharged.

Even after my best friend Felicity pushed me to do so, I was too suspicious to test a dating site or app. In my opinion, the internet was filled with lunatics and stalkers. I wasn’t quite ready to meet someone online, even though I’d had a fair chance to meet a crazy man in person.

I encourage you to go for it, Jasmine. We live in a new era. Everyone is online these days, and online dating is no longer taboo as it once was. Sure, you’ve got to be careful, but why not give it a try? Felicity asked before taking a sip of her margarita. We were sitting at one of our favorite Mexican restaurants, eating tacos and rice.

I know, Felicity, but I’m just not ready to meet someone online. On top of that, I don’t even know how to create a dating profile. I’m a businesswoman, so I have to be careful about how I put myself out there.

Felicity rolled her eyes upward. I understand, Jasmine. Really, I do, but don’t forget, that is how I met Terry, and we have been together for a few months. You can easily filter out the men you don’t want, and it’s easy to do. Some of these sites are extremely sophisticated. In addition to telling you about the person’s income and career, they also tell you about their hobbies and, more importantly, their background. Although I knew she was telling the truth, people also lied. People made fictitious profiles all the time.

All of these men could be lying, Felicity. Many women are kidnapped and exploited because they meet up with men who lie about who they are. I simply don’t have the time for that. I couldn’t just take reckless risks. I made terrible choices when I married Roger, so I did not need to repeat making the same mistake.

I tell you what. I’ll make a deal with you. If I help you set up a profile on a reputable and trustworthy dating site, would you at least consider it?

Lifting my brow, I looked up. What kind of dating site is this? She had my attention.

This website was launched about a year ago. Unlike other dating sites, they conduct background checks, and in addition, they organize a date at a safe location.

I was starting to be intrigued by what Felicity was saying. It might not be a bad idea, but I would need more information. I do like the background check aspect, but I’m still not sure. I don’t want to appear desperate because I’m looking for love online.

Jasmine, please. That means most people are pathetic because that’s just the way people meet now. As with any date, exercise some good judgment. What could possibly go wrong?

A lot, I thought. After all that drama with Roger, I knew anything could go wrong. However, maybe Felicity was right, and it could be a good thing overall.

    Chapter 3

My dating profile was easy to set up. Felicity had taken some fantastic photos of me and placed them on the website, and my profile was definitely popping.

You’re going to get some dings and messages very soon, girl, with these hot photos. You just wait! Felicity said. She appeared to be more enthusiastic than I was.

I don’t know, but we’ll see. I was still somewhat skeptical about the whole thing because it was new to me. As soon as everything on my profile was complete, we browsed through the list of eligible bachelors.

Ooh, here’s a fireman. I’d like to see what he can do with those water hoses, Felicity laughed as she imitated a firefighter using a water hose to contain a fire.

Girl, you need to calm down. You are way too hot over there, I said, shaking my head. I couldn’t stop laughing at Felicity’s antics. Besides being a good friend, she was also hilarious at times.

She waved her hands like fans as if she were burning up. I know, girl. That’s why I need him to put out my flames.

I gently shoved her arm. Hey, I thought this was about me.

Okay, okay. I was just having a little fun, but I see someone wants to enjoy all the men to herself, she grinned and rolled her eyes. Come on, let’s look at some more of these fine men.

As we looked through the photos, I was not impressed with most of the profiles. However, that changed when one profile, in particular, caught my eye. The man’s name was Anthony, and he was 40 years old. According to his profile, he was a businessman who earned around $250,000 a year. He was 6’3" tall and appeared to weigh roughly 200 pounds, but it was all muscle. His photos without his shirt on were a complete tease. Especially the one with him at the beach.

Now, this is what I call sizzling hot, Felicity gasped.

I have to agree. He is cute. I was still gazing at his body,
