Untitled design (82)God's Wonderful Creation
In the beginning, there was nothing but darkness over the face of the deep. But God was there, and His spirit moved across the waters. God said, Let there be light,
and instantly, there was light. God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness. He called the light day
and the darkness night.
On the second day, God said, Let there be a space between the waters to separate water from water.
So God made the sky above and the waters below. He called the sky heaven.
On the third day, God gathered the waters together and let dry ground appear. He called the dry ground land,
and He gathered the waters into seas. Then God made plants and trees of all kinds to grow on the land. There were beautiful flowers, tall trees, and delicious fruits.
On the fourth day, God created the sun to shine during the day and the moon and stars to shine at night. They were to light up the earth and give light to the day and the night.
On the fifth day, God filled the seas with fish and creatures, and He filled the sky with birds of all kinds. The oceans and the skies were filled with life, swimming fish and soaring birds.
On the sixth day, God created animals of every kind to live on the land. There were big animals like elephants and lions, and small animals like rabbits and squirrels. Then God said, Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness.
So God created human beings, male and female, to rule over the earth and take care of all the animals and plants.
God looked at everything He had made, and it was very good. He rested on the seventh day from all the work He had done. He blessed the seventh day and made it holy.
The story of creation teaches us many things. It shows us that God is the powerful Creator of all things. Everything He made is good and beautiful. It teaches us to take care of the world and everything in it because God made it all and loves it very much.
So, children, remember to thank God for His wonderful creation. Look around you at the beauty of the world and the animals and plants He made. And always remember to take care of the earth and all the creatures that live in it, just as God planned from the very beginning.

In the beginning, when God created the heavens and the earth, He made a beautiful garden called Eden. In this garden, God formed the first man, Adam, out of the dust of the ground. He breathed life into Adam, and Adam became a living being.
God placed Adam in the garden of Eden and gave him the important job of taking care of it. Adam was surrounded by animals of all kinds, and he named each one. But Adam was alone, and God said, It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.
So God caused Adam to fall into a deep sleep. While Adam slept, God took one of Adam's ribs and formed it into a woman. When Adam woke up and saw the woman, he called her Eve, because she would become the mother of all the living.
Adam and Eve lived happily in the garden of Eden. They walked with God and enjoyed the beauty of the garden. God gave them everything they needed, and He gave them one rule: they could eat from any tree in the garden except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
One day, a crafty serpent came to Eve and asked, Did God really say you must not eat from any tree in the garden?
Eve replied, We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God said, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.'
But the serpent said, You will not surely die. For God knows that when you eat of it, your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.
Eve looked at the tree and saw that its fruit looked delicious and desirable. She took some and ate it. Then she gave some to Adam, and he ate it too.
Suddenly, their eyes were opened, and they realized they were naked. They sewed fig leaves together to cover themselves. When they heard God walking in the garden, they hid from Him because they were afraid.
God called out to Adam, Where are you?
Adam replied, I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked, so I hid.
God asked Adam if he had eaten from the tree He commanded him not to eat from. Adam admitted that he did, and Eve did too.
God was saddened because Adam and Eve disobeyed Him. He told them that because of their disobedience, they would have to leave the garden of Eden and work hard to grow food from the ground. He also told Eve that there would be pain in childbirth.
But God also showed His love and mercy. He made clothes out of animal skins for Adam and Eve to wear. They left the garden of Eden, but God promised that one day, He would send someone to rescue them from their sins.
The story of Adam and Eve teaches us an important lesson about obedience and consequences. God gives us rules to keep us safe and to show us how to live in His love. When we disobey God's rules, there are consequences. But God also forgives us when we ask Him, and He loves us no matter what.

In the early days after Adam and Eve left the garden of Eden, they had two sons named Cain and Abel. Cain worked as a farmer, tending to the fields and growing crops. Abel took care of sheep, watching over them as they grazed on the green pastures.
One day, Cain and Abel decided to bring offerings to God. Abel brought the best of his flock—a lamb—to present as an offering to God. He gave it with a joyful heart, thanking God for the sheep's health and strength.
