WHO'S the inventor the football game ?

In fact, it is understood that the oldest form of football is CUJO which was played in China during the Han Dynasty from 206 BC to 220 AD. The word Cuju literally translates to kick the ball, and the goal of the game is to kick the ball into the net, similar to modern football, which prohibits the use of hands during play.

In ancient Greece, there was also a game similar to football called EPISKYROS . The name of the game means the common ball and involves two teams of players (with numbers similar to football) with one ball, but here players were allowed to use their hands. The term Episkyros was often violent in nature and is believed to be somewhat related to the later ancient Roman game HARPASTUM, which means "carried away

Football, as we know it today, Began in England with the establishment of its rules by the English Football Association in 1863.

The rules of this sport have gradually evolved since then, reaching video technology recently, but they have retained, more or less, the same constitution and general objectives.

There were many forms of football in England before the current version of the game was invented, all of which lacked a unified set of rules and were somewhat chaotic. There are several different rule codes, such as the Cambridge Rules and the Sheffield Rules, which meant that there was often disagreement and confusion among players. While no individual can realistically claim to be the inventor of football, Ebenezer Morley has been referred to as the father of the English Football Association. Morley was the founder of the Barnes Football Club, and his letter to the Bell Life newspaper prompted the historic meeting that established the new and definitive rules of football. This meeting, held on October 26, 1863, in a pub in the British capital, London, included representatives from 12 clubs and quickly led to the formalization of the game of football. Currently, football is governed by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), which was established in 1904, 41 years after the creation of the English Football Association. The International Football Association Board (IFAB) is the custodian of the laws of the game and includes FIFA, along with the four British associations (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland).
