Bio

Zoë Rayn Evans is currently an MFA candidate at Parsons School of Design, where she is deepening her research and curatorial practice. She previously earned her B.A. from the Tyler School of Art & Architecture at Temple University. Zoë’s work explores themes of displaced emotional well-being and the interconnectedness between societal design and collective well-being, with a focus on the socio-historical and geological implications of site. She has a diverse professional background, having worked in theater production, commercial fine arts, museums, public spaces, and non-profit sectors. Notable projects include her contributions to An Immigrant Alphabet (DIS)Placed Philadelphia, the 2016 Democratic National Convention installation “Truth to Power,” and consulting for Philadelphia’s The Rail Park. Zoë is also an active yogi, artist, and aspiring chef, who enjoys spending time outdoors in nature, particularly by the ocean.
