Just started this series, and at the beginning of this one I'm confused. In Off to the Races, Cole whispers to Violet in the winner's circle in her first race and makes her go pale, the one to qualify for the derby on page 252 (I went back and looked). In the beginning of this book though, it is made out that Violet meets Cole after winning the derby and that's when he whispers to her. Am I going mad?
