I've always liked Perry's books, generally really liked them. "The Burglar" has a female lead who thinks a lot in ways that make no sense & does so repetitiously. The paranoia does given her 'job', but her constant attempts to make the 'security company' into cops made none. I tried hard, but at 73% I gave up - for now. I haven't deleted it yet, so I might try to finish it up later.
