2021 OFFICIAL Movie Watch List
A list of movies I've watched in 2021 accompanied by my commentary. Sometimes I rant, cuss or threaten to make a movie where I go on a killing spree and off all these hack writers who make garbage films that piss me off. The ones with plots that boggle the mind at their astounding stupidity (see #139). I also rave about films that deserve it (but that's much less entertaining) and threaten to begin writing fan fiction about them. Making all the female characters into lesbians for my own amusement.

Commentary: It's rating is lifted to 1 and half stars because of several funny one liners. Otherwise the movie is terrible. Not due to the storyline. It's silly. But that's expected when a dog is the star. It's the horrid OVER acting of nearly every member of the cast. Especially the villians. That generated this rating. And who told Janet Ulrich Brooks (Estelle Willinger) that making that face, for the entire movie, would make her character "funny". It didn't. This is a stinker even among other DOVE approved bombs. Quite the accomplishment. - DirectorSven Unterwaldt Jr.StarsCameron AnsellWincent WeissKristin FairlieA young dragon looking for his own fire must fight against an evil wizard with help of the beautiful ice princess, Lilli.Watched via: DVD (Samsung)

What Carter Lost is not about the team immortalized in Friday Night Lights - it's about the team that beat them. It's about the year Dallas Carter dominated Texas high school football, never losing a game, but walked away with little more than an asterisk in the state's history books. It's about the legal battles that accompanied every Carter playoff game, the string of inexplicable crimes that forever altered six players' futures, and the community that rallied to support its team, only to find itself tarred with scandal. In the tradition of the best 30 for 30 documentary features, What Carter Lost is a story about the intersection of forces bigger than any game - except for football in Texas.Watched via: ESPN+
