In the Thursday, October 10 episode of Days of Our Lives, Clyde Weston raised the stakes to his latest con. He ordered Dr. Mark Greene to make Fauxbigail a widow. Apparently, that was much easier than draining his accounts. Hopefully, this run for the Dimera fortune will be Clyde’s last stand.
‘Super’ Villain in Super Max
Clyde Weston (James Read) has been around so long that he’s systematically made life hellish for all of Salem’s residents at one point or another. Originally introduced as Ben’s (Robert Scott Wilson) and Jordan’s (Chrishell Stause) abusive dad, he eventually caused all kinds of chaos. This included being a part of the town’s very own Legion of Doom, which consisted of Clyde, Orpheus (George DelHoyo), and Xander (Paul Telfer).
But that drug ring he somehow operated behind bars extended his villainous reach in Salem, and when he was finally recaptured,...

In the latest storyline from Days of our Lives, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) shows no hesitation when he aims his weapon at Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos), despite Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) being held as a potential collateral. This episode reminds fans of Theresa’s past with Xander, a complex history filled with deceit and lies. Many fans may remember how devious he really is.
In 2016, Theresa falsely accused Xander of attempted Sa on Days of our Lives. This lead to his imprisonment. Her false allegations were instrumental in Xander’s escape from Statesville prison. Also alongside Clyde Weston (James Read) and Orpheus (George DelHoyo) on Dool. So all three escapes continue to wreak havoc in Salem.
Despite Theresa’s admission of her lie and Xander’s subsequent rescue of her from a Mexican drug lord, Theresa remains a thorn in Xander’s side. Now, the tension between Xander, Theresa, and Konstantin escalates.

Days of Our Lives spoilers and rumors tease in the twisted web of deception, Abigail Dimera’s (most recently Marci Miller) fate hangs in the balance. Is Clyde Weston (James Read) really a pawn in someone else’s game-is that why he confessed to a murder he now claims never happened?
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Why Would Clyde Spend Time In Prison For A Crime He Didn’t Commit?
The question as to why Clyde would plead guilty to a crime he didn’t commit is an excellent one-at the time, he was trying to go straight and planning to marry.
That’s not saying that he didn’t really tell Chad Dimera (Billy Flynn) Abigail was alive to avoid having his brains blown out as supposed.
It would seem that poor Abigail really was graveyard dead-Chad’s the one who found her stabbed in their bed, and his...

Days of our Lives spoilers for next week’s episodes of the hit Peacock soap opera tease so much chaos erupting in Salem.
As fall kicks off, big things are happening on the daytime drama, and November sweeps are right around the corner.
One hot-button storyline involves Orpheus (George DelHoyo) injecting Kate (Lauren Koslow), Marlena (Deidre Hall), and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans).
Things take a turn next week. Rex (Kyle Lowder) returns to town with an answer that might save his mother but not Kayla or Marlena. It sounds like Orpheus poisoned them with different deadly toxins, which is not surprising.
Meanwhile, Stephanie (Abigail Klein) is livid that Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla kept her out of the loop.
That’s just a glimpse of what’s going down in Salem. Let’s take a look at the other must-see Days moments for next week.

After a few heavy weeks full of grieving, Days of Our Lives decided we needed a laugh.
On Days of Our Lives during the week of 7-18-22, Orpheus put a goofy plan into motion and managed to get himself and a bunch of other miscreants pardoned.
That could mean serious trouble for Salem, at least until all these idiots are arrested again for whatever they get up to next. But the punchline was that Orpheus told Rafe not to worry because Orpheus is planning to be a model citizen!
Right. As if Orpheus even knows what those words mean.
As silly as this story is, I'm glad that George Del Hoyo is willing and able to reprise the role of Orpheus again. Orpheus was one of my favorite villains back in the day. Although his more recent storylines don't pack the emotional punch of his original appearance, I still...

The Daytime Emmy nominations were announced on Tuesday, May 25. But this year’s awards are a little different from last year’s. These nominations are for soap operas, talk shows, game shows, and other genres that will be presented during a CBS telecast one month from today on June 25. Then on June 28 nominations will be announced in other fields including children’s, animated, and lifestyle programming, with those winners to be revealed during online streaming ceremonies on July 17-18. So who made the cut in this round? Scroll down for the full list.
The voting process for the Daytime Emmys differs significantly from their prime time counterparts. The nominees were selected by panels that ranged from 10 to 50 members who reviewed every submission in the category. The panelists scored those submissions individually instead of ranking them in order of preference. The highest scorers were the ones who made the cut as nominees.

Don Lafontaine, the undisputed viceroy of voiceovers, died Monday of complications from the treatment of an ongoing lung-related illness. He was 68.
Before his death, he had provided voiceovers for an estimated 5,000 movie trailers, including "Batman Returns," "The Terminator," "Cast Away," "The Elephant Man" and "Dr. Strangelove." Many of those began with his catchphrase, "In a world where ..."
The world Lafontaine inhabited was one where his voice was hugely familiar, though his name was not. But in that world, he was king. "He basically changed and reinvented the narrative and presentation sound of a trailer," voice artist George DelHoyo said. "It used to be more of giving names of who was in the film. He gave it urgency, importance, intelligence and a point of view."
Added SAG president Alan Rosenberg: "Don was a phenomenal actor and a prodigious and amazing voice talent who could, like the best voice artists, make any material uniquely his own.
