Terry Hughes was born on 25 February 1940 in Aldershot, Hampshire, England. He is a director and producer, known for The Golden Girls (1985), The Two Ronnies (1971) and American Playhouse (1980). He has been married to Margaret Elizabeth Polley since 1966. They have two children.
