He and Montel Williams both portrayed diabolical cult leaders in a particular episode of two different dramatic television programs. Luz performed as the New Canaan Heavenly Compound's leader John Bodie/Dwayne Blaine in a second season episode of Walker, Texas Ranger (1993) and Montel portrayed the Golden Path Institute's leader Brother David in a fifth season episode of Touched by an Angel (1994). In addition, both actors made guest appearances on JAG (1995).
