The new episodes will pick up immediately after season 1’s cliffhanger finale, which ended with Kat having a critical realization about what may have happened to her missing younger brother, Jacob.

In The Way Home Season 2, Kat reveals to her mother, Del, her theory about what happened to Jacob. As Kat continues her quest to find Jacob, the Landry women learn more about their family’s origins, which answers some questions while also raising new ones.

Kat and Elliot’s big moment in the season finale of Hallmark Channel’s The Way Home featured actor Evan Williams in more ways than one. In The Way Home’s first season, Elliot finally got his chance with Kat, who he’s loved since they were teenagers. With Kat back in Port Haven and separated from her husband Brady (Al Mukadam), a romance blossomed. But their new relationship was complicated by Elliot’s long entanglement with the Landry family.

The high school physics teacher is the only person aside from Kat and her daughter Alice (Sadie Laflamme-Snow) who knows time travel is possible.

What a rollercoaster. Hallmark Channel’s The Way Home went out with a bang on March 26. The season 1 finale answered the big question that’s been hanging over all the episodes of the time-travel drama: What happened to Jacob? (Read more about that big reveal.) But the episode also cleared up questions about the identity of the mystery woman at Colton’s funeral and who sent the letter that drew Kat home to Port Haven. The Way Home follows Kat Landry (Chyler Leigh), who reunites with her mother Del Landry (Andie MacDowell) after two decades of estrangement. Exclusive: Hallmark’s The Way Home — the network’s first new original series in almost seven years — has been renewed for a second season.

The drama that stars Andie MacDowell and Chyler Leigh has been a ratings winner since premiering Jan. 15, regularly topping Bravo’s Real Housewives of Potomac, TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, and HGTV’s Home Town on Sunday nights. It ranks as the No. 1 most-watched program on Sundays among households, P2+, W18+ and P18+ on a L+Sd basis.

The audience has also increased throughout the season among women and younger viewers. On a L+3 basis through Feb. 19, The Way Home is the No. 2 most-watched program overall with HHs, P2+, W18+ and P18+, second only to Hallmark’s own original movie.

Will Kat and Alice find a way to prevent the family tragedy that changed the Landry family forever? Hallmark Channel’s new series The Way Home doesn’t hold back when it comes to ‘90s nostalgia. In the multi-generational family drama, a present-day teen named Alice (Sadie Laflamme-Snow) discovers that she has the ability to time-travel back to the late 1990s, when her mother Kat (played by Chyler Leigh as an adult and Alex Hook as a teen) was in high school. Aside from the era-appropriate fashion and nods to dial-up internet and movies like The Blair Witch Project, the show also references the decade in its episode titles.

We’re only partway through the first season of The Way Home, but the show is making its commitment to the ‘90s theme clear in its episode titles. Three of the four episodes that have aired so far reference popular songs from the late 1990s.

The 10 episodes of season one will land on the streaming service next month. The show debuted earlier this year in Canada and it's been renewed for a second season there.

IMDb TV revealed more about the series in a press release.

IMDb TV has acquired Canadian drama series Pretty Hard Cases, setting a U.S. premiere date of September 10 for its first season.

The action-packed series from Sherry White and Tassie Cameron examines the odd couple dynamic between two radically different female detectives in their early 40s. The first is optimistic, over-achieving guns and gangs detective, Samantha Wazowski (Meredith MacNeill). The second is Kelly Duff (Adrienne C. Moore), a tough, unapologetic type from the drug squad.

It’s not until Samantha and Kelly’s chance meeting during a takedown that they realize they’re going after the same target. While they couldn’t disagree more on strategy, and pretty much everything else, they are forced to put their differences aside in their quest to dismantle the Stockwoods, a Toronto street gang dealing drugs and wreaking havoc on the community.

MTV released a trailer for “The Challenge: Spies, Lies and Allies” and announced the first-ever “The Challenge: Fantasy League.”

The new season of the long-running franchise, which premieres Aug. 11 at 8 p.m., will showcase 17 international players alongside U.S. players. It will then roll out globally across MTV’s international networks in more than 190 countries throughout the coming months.

The trailer, which you can watch below, starts off with contestants atop cars swerving around tracks. “The Challenge” host T.J. Lavin tells contestants that the competition will be more complicated than ever before. “Agents, here on ‘The Challenge,’ the missions are harder, my eliminations — tougher. So I’ve brought 34 of the most elite agents from around the globe to test every one of your skills,” he says.

Aside from physical competition, the trailer provides a sneak peek into the contestants’ personal lives, with dancing, partying and romance being showcased between the players.
