Spoiler Alert: This post contains spoilers from “Bring Me to Life,” the Season 2 finale of Hallmark’s “The Way Home,” which streams on Peacock and Hallmark Movies Now.
“The Way Home” added another jaw-dropping twist in the Season 2 finale, “Bring Me to Life,” which aired Sunday night on Hallmark. Jacob (Spencer MacPherson) returned home to the present day, bringing Kat’s (Chyler Leigh) Season 2 quest to a close — but that wasn’t the most shocking moment of the finale. After Kat declared, “I wish Dad was here to see this,” to her little brother, the show moved to a flashback of a very young Colton in period clothing talking to an old woman about how it wasn’t his time to go in the pond. Another flashback revealed that it was actually adult Colton (Jefferson Brown) standing in the bushes watching himself with a young Jacob (Remy Smith) at the...

Kat and Elliot’s big moment in the season finale of Hallmark Channel’s The Way Home featured actor Evan Williams in more ways than one. The scene, which saw Willams’ character making a huge choice that left Kat (Chyler Leigh) reeling, was accompanied by a cover of Cyndi Lauper’s hit song “Time After Time” sung by Williams himself.

Elliot breaks things off with Kat in ‘The Way Home’ Season 1 finale
In The Way Home’s first season, Elliot finally got his chance with Kat, who he’s loved since they were teenagers. In the upcoming episode of Hallmark Channel’s The Way Home, the women begin to dig into what happened to Kat’s brother Jacob more than two decades ago – and explore whether they may be able to use their newfound ability to time-travel to prevent his disappearance. Hallmark Channel’s new series The Way Home doesn’t hold back when it comes to ‘90s nostalgia. In the multi-generational family drama, a present-day teen named Alice (Sadie Laflamme-Snow) discovers that she has the ability to time-travel back to the late 1990s, when her mother Kat (played by Chyler Leigh as an adult and Alex Hook as a teen) was in high school. Aside from the era-appropriate fashion and nods to dial-up internet and movies like The Blair Witch Project, the show also references the decade in its episode titles.

We’re only partway through the first season of The Way Home, but the show is making its commitment to the ‘90s theme clear in its episode titles. Three of the four episodes that have aired so far reference popular songs from the late 1990s.

IMDb TV has acquired Canadian drama series Pretty Hard Cases, setting a U.S. premiere date of September 10 for its first season.
The action-packed series from Sherry White and Tassie Cameron examines the odd couple dynamic between two radically different female detectives in their early 40s. The first is optimistic, over-achieving guns and gangs detective, Samantha Wazowski (Meredith MacNeill). The second is Kelly Duff (Adrienne C. Moore), a tough, unapologetic type from the drug squad.
It’s not until Samantha and Kelly’s chance meeting during a takedown that they realize they’re going after the same target. While they couldn’t disagree more on strategy, and pretty much everything else, they are forced to put their differences aside in their quest to dismantle the Stockwoods, a Toronto street gang dealing drugs and wreaking havoc on the community.
As the season unfolds, we see that both women are grappling with loneliness,...
