He continued his theater and film career after the war.

The actor Alfred Neugebauer belonged to the busy support actors of the 30's and 40's of the German and Austrian film.

During wartime he took part in entertainment movies like "Wiener G'schichten" (40), and "Der Postmeister" (1940).
