Besides film, TV and commercials, she worked in dozens of professional
plays and musicals. She retired from acting at age 25 and became
apprentice to the world-renown voice teacher,
Bob Corff. Seven years later, they were
married. Together, they founded the "Corff Voice Studios" in Los
Angeles. Claire also co-authored "Achieving the Standard American
Accent" C.D. and workbook. She also co-authored a series of accent CDs
and workbooks, which covers learning nearly every accent worldwide. In
addition to her private lessons, she teaches at the famous Beverly
Hills Playhouse and Lee Strasberg
Institute.
