Judy Prescott holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Connecticut College, where she studied Shakespearean acting and the Stanislavski method with renowned stage and screen actor Morris Carnovsky. Mr. Carnovsky co-founded the groundbreaking Group Theatre in New York City, where he pioneered the "American acting technique" based on the work of Konstantin Stanislavski.
Ms. Prescott went on to study Shakespeare with members of the R.S.C. at the University of Warwick in England. She continued her studies at the National Theater Institute at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center in Connecticut. Ms. Prescott performed for two seasons with the celebrated Williamstown Theatre Festival In Massachusetts.
