Judy Prescott holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Connecticut College, where she studied Shakespearean acting and the Stanislavski method with renowned stage and screen actor Morris Carnovsky. Mr. Carnovsky co-founded the groundbreaking Group Theatre in New York City, where he pioneered the "American acting technique" based on the work of Konstantin Stanislavski.

Ms. Prescott went on to study Shakespeare with members of the R.S.C. at the University of Warwick in England. She continued her studies at the National Theater Institute at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center in Connecticut. Ms. Prescott performed for two seasons with the celebrated Williamstown Theatre Festival In Massachusetts.

Judy Prescott's professional career spans several decades in New York and Los Angeles. She has appeared in numerous American television shows, films, and stage productions. Ms. Prescott has played dramatic roles on highly acclaimed series like Grey's Anatomy, True Blood, Bones, Six Feet Under and Judging Amy. She created comedic characters for popular sitcoms like Roseanne, Working Girl, Murphy Brown, and Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Film credits include Say Anything, Islander, Bug, and Hit and Runway.

Judy Prescott is a member of the film and television actors' union, SAG-AFTRA and the Actor's Equity Association. Ms.Prescott is a published author and a visual artist who works in mixed media.
