Kavi Raz is an award winning actor, producer, writer and director
He was the first actor of Indian descent to appear in a major TV series as regular in Hollywood. St. Elsewhere that award winning medical drama in which Kavi appeared as Doctor Vijay Kochar, aired during the early to mid-eighties on NBC. It was a great learning experience for Kavi working along actors like Denzel Washington, Ed Begley. David Morris. William Daniels, Ed Flanders and Normal Loyd.
Since that early break Kavi has appeared in hundreds of TV shows, films and plays Kavi is the founder and artistic director of Wandering Players Theater Company
Since his early days as an actor, Kavi has further ventured into writing, producing and directing. Wrote and directed the recent hit, The Black Prince
Kavi captained the US national field hockey team and barely missed playing in the 1984 Los Angels Olympics due to his busy shooting schedule at the time
He is also an accomplished soccer player. And as an honor to his love for the game has written and directed Barefoot Warriors a film inspired by a true story and based on soccer or football as its called around the world.
