Silent screen comedian, who started with Fred Karno's troupe in England. His brother Alf was Karno's business manager. Billie crossed the Atlantic and had several successful engagements with the 'Ziegfeld Follies' from 1908. He was signed by Lubin in 1915 for a series of comedies filmed at studios in Jacksonville, Florida. These were under the direction of Arthur D.
