- TriviaWhile making the short film Beyond Dream's Door (1983), Woelfel established lifelong relationships with the two stars, Rick Kesler and Nick Baldasare. The actors went on to appear in many of his other films, including the 1989 feature-length remake, and at Woelfel's 2010 wedding, Baldasare was his best man and Kesler officiated the ceremony.
